Christmas Cookies at the HUB
After such a fun day last year, once again I’ll be taking over the HUB on the Heath Cafe for a Christmas Biscuit Village Takeover on Sunday 15th December!
Get into the Christmas Spirit and have fun decorating a Christmas House (just like a gingerbread house but using my original biscuit recipe).
This 90 minute session will start with a demonstration from expert biscuit decorator, Sarah B. You will then use your own royal icing bag to try different piping skills. Using pre-mixed and coloured royal icing, you will then outline and flood (this will make sense!) 6 house-pieced biscuits and learn how to add details, using different techniques. Once piece are dry, you’ll construct your house on a silver board.
Everything is provided for you, including the box to take your creation home in.
This session is aimed at aged 10 years – adult. The construction of the house is the tricky part and children may need additional help and support.
Last year, most people took longer than 90 minutes so please bear this in mind before booking. After 90 minutes, you can still use the equipment and icing but Sarah B will be having a short lunch-break!!!
Alternatively, you can book 1 place for 2 decorators to decorate and construct the house together!
