Description
Do you want to upskill your biscuit decorating with royal icing? Have questions? Want to know how to make the perfect icing consistencies?
This technical class will start with a demonstration from expert biscuit decorator, Sarah B whilst you enjoy cake from a local baker, a drink and ask questions. You will then use your own royal icing bag to try different piping skills.
Using pre-mixed and coloured royal icing, you will then outline and flood, 5 pre-baked biscuits and learn how to add simple details, using different techniques. You will have access to professional equipment, such as dehydrators to speed up the drying process. Sarah B will also demonstrate how to colour and mix royal icing for different consistencies and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions as class size is capped at 4.

Option to take some royal icing and additional biscuits home with you at the end of the class for a small additional charge.
Additional gift packaging will be available to purchase at a small charge if you wish to gift your decorated biscuits to a mother-figure or friend (as it’s two weeks before Mother’s Day).
As this is a slightly longer class (2.5 hours), you will also get the opportunity to mix your own royal icing and try other techniques such as hammered technique, stippling/sponging, metallic painting…
PLEASE NOTE: The Cookie Shack is at the back of my house up some steep steps so is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
